Kaleido Star: May Wong

I thought i would submit this before heading off to work theres really nothing more i can think of adding to this.

Anyways this is May Wong from the second season of Kaleido Star I managed to get some work done on this bit by bit even though im working more than 40 hours a week.

Overall i had 30 layers at one time with this picture and i decided to add fingernails which is what i always should be doing when drawing a figure. I gave her pink nailpolish as well to match the color design on her outfi. I addrd some sparkles in the pose as well especially by her hand because i saw on my DVD cases that alot of the cover illustrations had some sort of sparkles on them. and the shading I used my Poser 6 program to get a bit of reference on that.

I also added the Japanese title of Kaleido Star which I saved from my previous CG's and that was vector traced in Illustrator. I also did the Kaleido Stage logo in the background but i traced that with Illustrator CS, and also I manually vector traced May Wongs name in Japanese manually because I didnt have the right type of calligraphy brush in Illustrator and I dont have any Japanese style photoshop brushes.

well thats it for my description I plan on continuing doing more Kaleido Star and finish the Kaleido Star girl series

I still have to do Layla Hamilton, Mia Guillem, Anna Heart, Sarah Dupont, and i should do little Marion as well.

Well I guess thats that I cant believe this is 2 submissions this year guess I guess all that irritation and aggrivation from my last job was stressing me out too much cause now i seem to be alot happier and more energetic with drawing and digital coloring again.
