Finally finished I kept changing the background like 5 or 10 seperate times it took me forever to do this image.
Well anyway heres another original image I did I'm trying to break off of doing fanart for awhile the character was not a problem to draw and color I had as much as 36 layers on the character at one point. I tried something new as well I duplicated the image and then created a clipping mask around her to create a silhouette of a shadow then i skewed the shadow image and dropped it behind her.
The background I tried to keep it simple I tried to do something more complicated but I tore my hair out for weeks doing it so I decided to keep it more simplified I used alot of brushes for the backgrounds like grass brushes, sakura brushes, tree brushes, and cloud brushes, and I even found some tree bark brushes as well.
I'm finally glad i finally finished this I had to drop the image size by 50% because the image itself was like 3400x2100 pixels and it was over 3Mb as a JPEG. Now i gotta figure out what im gonna do next.

Your coloring is absolutely gorgeous. I am jealous. There's some problems with body proportions... The arms are a bit too long and the feet are a little off, but the pose is wonderful and definitely a challenge~ Nice work!
It was quite hard do to a pose like that with the torso being at that prespective but that's why I chose a pose like that and I kind of knew there would be errors. I got the feet as close as I could as well.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
